synopsis

As a nationwide crisis explodes, a group of politicians set up a political party in opposition to the military regime, triggering violent accusations against multinational corporations operating in Brazil. While exploiting the Gangorra mineral deposits, United Mining is accused of several irregularities. However, this US multinational sees the internal struggles dividing the opposition party as its only chance of silencing the nationalistic campaign that is accusing the company. This leads to a power play that steers the characters into a tragic web of corruption and fear.
