A documentary on the power of the collective, Try to Understand What I Try to Stay explores militancy as a way of transforming people and realities marked by barriers raised by HIV. Dispelling misinformation, this film shows that life is still rich in possibilities, following the everyday routines of six HIV-positive characters from a wide variety of social classes, professions, sexual orientations and religious beliefs.
